Marketing Growth Lead
Lead MONEYME's direct-channel growth as Marketing Growth Lead — own strategy, experiments, and CRM in a fast, collaborative fintech team.
About MONEYME
We're not a bank. And we're definitely not trying to act like one.
MONEYME is a founder-led, ASX-listed digital lender and Certified B Corp on a mission to reinvent credit for modern Australians. Through smart technology, fast decisions, and a seamless customer experience, we're changing how Australians borrow.
From personal loans, car loans, debt consolidation, to credit cards and free credit score tools, we build financial products people actually want.
We move fast. We think big. And growth sits at the centre of everything we do.
The Role
This is an opportunity to lead and scale the next phase of growth at MONEYME.
Reporting directly to the CMO, the Marketing Growth Lead owns the strategy, execution, and performance of our direct customer channel across paid, organic, and partners/affiliates. Your remit covers acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention, and your single focus is unlocking more growth, whether that's optimising what we're already doing, opening new channels and partnerships, diversifying creative, or finding the next lever no one else has pulled yet.
This is a hands-on role. You'll lead the strategy and you'll be in the work, side by side with your team, briefing campaigns, reviewing creative, interrogating performance data, and shaping experiments. You'll directly manage and coach our in-house CRM Specialist and our Marketing Executive. Depending on your level of experience, you may also manage our Digital Marketing Manager, or partner with them as a senior peer within the function.
Working closely with Product, Sales, Credit, Data, and Executive stakeholders, you'll shape go-to-market strategy and ensure marketing is delivering real commercial outcomes.
What You'll Do
Unlock growth across the direct channel. Own the strategy and performance of paid media, SEO, content, organic social, partnerships, and affiliates. Set the direction, get into the detail with our Digital Marketing Manager and external agencies, and hold them to account on outcomes. Constantly look for the next unlock, whether that's scaling what's working, killing what isn't, opening new channels, testing new partners, or pushing into formats and creative styles we haven't tried yet. Manage budgets with a strong focus on ROI, CAC, LTV, and conversion, and bring a bias toward experimentation and speed.
Own conversion rate optimisation. Lead the CRO roadmap across acquisition funnels, landing pages, and application flows. Set up and run a structured experimentation program with clear hypotheses, success metrics, and shared learnings. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to ship high-impact improvements that lift application starts, completion rates, and approved customer conversion. Use behavioural analytics and qualitative insight to identify friction, and build a culture of test-and-learn across the business.
Lead CRM and lifecycle marketing. Own the CRM and lifecycle strategy across email, push, in-app, and SMS, leveraging Braze as our core platform. Set the direction and work alongside our in-house CRM Specialist to build and optimise programs across onboarding, activation, cross-sell, retention, win-back, and reactivation. Drive measurable lifts in repeat applications, multi-product holding, and customer lifetime value through smart segmentation, personalisation, and behavioural triggers, and ensure a high standard of deliverability, list hygiene, and compliance.
Lead growth campaigns and go-to-market. Manage, coach, and develop our Marketing Executive to deliver growth campaigns and product launches across the direct channel. Set the strategic direction, brief the work clearly, and stay close to execution. Use customer insights, behavioural data, and market trends to shape campaign strategy, improve attribution and reporting, and translate business priorities into customer-facing activity that converts.
Bring leadership, structure, and pace. Set clear priorities, goals, and success measures aligned to business outcomes. Establish strong operating rhythms including weekly priorities, campaign reviews, and performance check-ins. Provide coaching, feedback, and development support to lift capability across the team. Remove blockers, drive pace, and foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing marketing talent, while staying close to the work yourself
