Mid-Senior Technical Business Analyst

What we are looking for:
We are looking for Senior Technical Business Analyst to support our fast-growing team. You will support the Technology and Product teams with the delivery of products and initiatives across the organization. We are working in agile so previous experience working in such an environment would be beneficial.
Responsibilities will include:
Work closely with Tech Leads, Architects, and Engineers to create clear, practical technical documentation, such as architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, ERDs, API specs, and integration flows.
Lead discovery across multiple squads or platforms simultaneously, driving alignment between business strategy and technical roadmaps.
Contribute to defining BA practice standards, including documentation templates, requirements frameworks, and tooling decisions.
Help investigate and coordinate fixes for production issues during releases and warranty periods by working across payments, risk, data, and platform teams, keeping customer impact and compliance front of mind.
Own the business impact assessment and post-incident review for production issues, including identifying whether requirements gaps contributed to the issue
Gather, review and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports and other key metrics.
Develop technical workflows, defining quality user stories, acceptance criteria and other agile requirements.
Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling.
Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations.
Propose ideas, documents, and deliver outcomes.
Facilitate and run workshops to understand business needs and gather requirements.
To be successful for this role the following skills and experience is required:
Solid experience working as an Agile/Technical BA (ideally within a banking or financial services environment) with the ability to work closely with the business to understand how they work and what they are trying to achieve.
Strong understanding of the agile development process, working from inception, through discovery and design, and through to delivery.
Strong curiosity and initiative to about learning new technologies and tools that can improve how we build and operate our systems (e.g. APIs, automation, AI-assisted analysis, and AI agents).
Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple business domains or platforms in high-stakes environments.
Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and executives, influencing decisions and managing competing priorities.
Solid understanding of the realities of building systems in financial services, including security, data privacy, and change management.
Strong commercial awareness — understanding how delivery decisions translate into business value, cost, and risk.
Experience developing user stories and managing them in a scrum environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to facilitate and run workshops.
