What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Junior IT Project Manager/Scrum Master (Project Coordinator) to oversee and guide our Engineering Teams. Responsibilities include assisting senior project manager in coordinating the various aspects of a project, tracking timelines, managing schedules, and supporting communication among stakeholders and ensure that the teams are following scrum framework values and agile practices, motivating the teams to improve processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminating team impediments.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
• Support the project team with administrative tasks.
• Track project progress and report to senior management.
• Help with risk management and issue resolution.
• Facilitates Scrum Ceremonies (ie. daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review and retrospective).
• Manage team’s capacity, allocate resources in the project development, and facilitate releases.
• Guides the team in proper time estimation and backlog refinement practices.
• Facilitate and plan the iterative releases and communicate with stakeholders.
• Protects the team from uncontrolled unexpected work influxes.
• Collaborates with team leads to resolve personnel issues and project roadblocks.
• Able to conduct post-mortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity.
• Leads the team's dedicated efforts toward continuous improvement, defining and implementing improvement initiatives to enhance program velocity and quality.
• Implements and upholds principles, regulations, and processes.
• Proactively identify and eliminate impediments and facilitate flow.
• Maintain team data in the project management tracker (i.e., JIRA, Confluence, Lucid) to support estimates and execution.

To be successful in this role you must have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred
• Certified scrum master, SAFe preferred
• 1+ years of experience as project lead, junior IT project manager, scrum master or in a similar role
• Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions
• Leadership and management experience
• Excellent people and project management skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
